Large example, 5 1/8” (5.16”) length with fine rounded triangular point on spread foot. Thickened with slight medial ridge both sides for use as when fighting lightly protective (leather tunics) garments. That occurred when they met in open battle rather than surprise raiding. Tapered tang. Point shows uniform surface texture from burial. Quite crisp throughout and professionally conserved. Iconic.
