8 1/4” length, Forged iron with right angle curved blade. The wood grip was restored with good period character. The thin blade was well preserved for the period with considerable original surface intact. Viking household gardens grew herbs that were basic to Viking cooking. Sickles of this size were used to harvest herbs and vegetables.
