Forged iron, 3 3/4” (3.82”) length. Waisted form upper decorated both sides with a punched scale motifs. Integral tapered spike below. The spike was drivel into a log or tree and the blade edge hammered against to top. Considerable effects of use in its working life. See The Mastermyr Find, Arwidsson and Berg, #72 for a related example found in Gotland, Sweden.
